November Book Club

We met on Monday to discuss our October Book Club book, which was One for the Murphys by Lynda Mullaly Hunt.  This was also a Georgia Book Award nominee, so counts toward the 3 books that students need to read in order to be able to vote for the Georgia Book Award.  Generally speaking, our book club members were big fans of this book...a much better reaction to this title than the previous book we read.  Now it is time to get ready for our November Book Club, and this one will be BIG!  We will be reading The Meaning of Maggie by Megan Jean Sovern, and the author will be joining us in person!!  Megan lives in Atlanta, and we are so lucky that she is able to come in and talk to us about the book and about being an author!  Put November 17 on your calendar, and be sure to join us for this exciting event!
