Upside Down in the Middle of Nowhere

Our Art to Book Club is one of the highlights of my day every month! We made such fabulous book art inspired by Prairie Evers. It is now on display in our Book to Art Club Museum in our lower school media center. We hope you will come check it out!

As we continue to read more Georgia book award nominees in order to be eligible to vote by late January, we have chosen Upside Down in the Middle of Nowhere by Julie T. Lamana for our next book club book.

From the moment we started reading about this book, which is a moving story about Hurricane Katrina, we knew we had to read it next! We can't wait to discuss it on Monday, January 4th after our holiday break!
