Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper

The 5th grade girls book club was sooo much fun!  Everyone had such diverse opinions about Once Upon A Marigold that it made for an interesting discussion.  We also rolled out our mechina book buddy program so that was an added bonus.  Thank you to all the enthusiastic 5th grade girls who read the book and attended the book club.  It was a blast!  Our next book club book is Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper.  Not only is it a great book that teaches us a lot about life lessons but it is also a GEORGIA BOOK AWARD NOMINEE!  How great is that?!  I look forward to discussing this book with all of you at our next book club meeting on Monday, October 24th during lunch.
